David Essex OBE is an acclaimed English singer, songwriter, and actor whose career has spanned over five decades. Known for his distinctive voice and magnetic stage presence, he went on to release numerous chart-topping singles and has enjoyed 23 Top Thirty hit records including “Hold Me Close,” “Gonna Make You a Star,” “A Winter’s Tale,” “Oh What A Circus,” “You’re In My Heart,” “Lamplight” and many more.
Beyond his success in music, David built a remarkable acting career, starring in classic films such as “That’ll Be the Day” and “Stardust,” as well as acclaimed stage productions like Evita, Mutiny, and Aspects of Love. Picnic Area: Located to the outside of the structure on the grass to the left. This has a good view of the stage and show sound. You are allowed to bring food, pop-up chairs and small tables but not alcohol.
Parking: On-site parking (fee applies). We have a limited number of Self-Contained Camper Vehicles/Caravans (maximum length: 7 metres) parking spaces and Tent pitches. Arrival from 12pm on day of concert. Concert tickets need to be purchased separately. (24hrs on-site).
